Metal care

Metal handles are made from materials such as brass, stainless steel, zinc alloy and aluminium alloy. Each design uses the most suitable metal to provide durable value while reducing environmental impact.

1. Dust with a clean, soft, dry cotton cloth. Do not use brushes, steel wool or coarse abrasive paper that may scratch plated or oxidised finishes.

2. For light marks, use a little clean water or a mild pH-neutral cleaner, then dry immediately so no moisture remains.

3. Never use strong acids or alkalis, disinfectants, bleach, paint thinner or concentrated alcohol. These can corrode the finish and cause peeling, discolouration or black oxidation.

4. Do not sand or polish minor scratches yourself, as this can remove the original protective oxidation layer.

5. Protect handles from sharp metal contact during installation and daily use, and wrap them when furniture is moved.

6. In kitchens, bathrooms and balconies, ventilate and dry the area regularly; do not allow prolonged soaking or condensation to collect.

7. Do not apply stickers or adhesive tape to the finish. Removing them may lift the coating, and adhesive residue is difficult to clean and can accelerate oxidation.

8. Wipe the surface dry every one to two months to keep it clean and slow ageing, fading and corrosion.
